BSD and Darwin derivatives Adrian Chadd is the current FreeBSD net80211/ath driver maintainer and developer. He's been working with a few others to get usable 802.11n support into FreeBSD. We thought we'd have a quick chat and ask how things are going.

OpenBSD has drivers for several 802.11n capable devices, but they only work on 802.11a/b/g mode, not n.

There are 802.11 stack changes required to properly support 802.11n and it's a fair amount of work.
