Privacy, Security, Encryption "Mr. Obama decided to accelerate the attacks - begun in the Bush administration and code-named Olympic Games - even after an element of the program accidentally became public in the summer of 2010 because of a programming error that allowed it to escape Iran's Natanz plant and sent it around the world on the Internet. Computer security experts who began studying the worm, which had been developed by the United States and Israel, gave it a name: Stuxnet." And we're letting these people have unmanned drones. Seems legit.

Case point of Israel.

Modern Israel was created in 1948. Instant war followed, 100% of Arab nations attack Israel, by using a SIMPLE A VERY SIMPLE LOGIC here, what can you expect from ISRAEL? Give up and go back to Germany and Russia?

But what gives anyone a right to have their own country and have it unilaterally imposed on someone else's land? It's funny how you focus on how the Arab nations quickly attacked Israel, but turn a blind eye on how Israel was formed on Arab land in the first place.

What did you expect from Arab nations when they were told they were to lose part of their land just like that?

A right was given by, surprise, world powers and winners of one big war - largely unrelated to the people inhabiting that area then, some having it under their control via the good old neocolonialism.

That UN including at its core the good old Soviet Union and, later, PRC BTW. Since you don't realize - its role back then was about balancing the whims and desires of main Cold War powers, the game they played, to prevent even bigger war.
(that why the Soviets "supported" the Arabs on numerous occasions BTW: they didn't really have anything in particular going in for them or against the Jews - but via the whim of history, Israel was more affiliated with the camp of the British)

And seriously, buying private land validly leads to something like that in your eyes?... Who friggin' cares what is the nationality, ethnicity, etc. of somebody who wants to own a farm?

Arab land is Arabia. Everything else was conquered in the 8th and 9th centuries. Ask the kabyls and berbers in north Africa, for example.
The british mandate in palestine was divided up: about a third for israel, 2 thirds into jordan.
There has been a palestinian uprising in jordan, leading to black september with thousand killed.
But never mind, selective indignation is rampant in europe.

Every land is conquered at one point or another. Go back far enough and no people owns any land, unless you want to believe in the lunacy of the Old Testament (which Ultraorthodox Jews do believe and create illegal settlements).

Do you suggest we go back in history and just redivide the world according to who used to live where thousands of years ago? Because if you do, then you also must accept that Israel was initially created by conquering. In fact, if you believe Israelites originally owns the land, then you are making the implicit statement that you think genocide, mass murder and rape of women and children are a legitimate way of founding a nation, because the only claim the Israelites have over Palestine is that Moses told them YHWH gave them the right to genocide, murder and rape in their conquering of Canaan that was "prommised" to them.

By arguing so, you basically take AWAY the argument that the Jews, being Israelites, deserve any compensation because genocide, murder and rape were legitimate tools of war when they took over Canaan and thus the same thing should be allowed when it comes back to bite them in the arse.

Congratulations in excusing the Nazi's actions.

So you can claim, in the very same commment, that Arabs aren't entitled to Palestine because they conquered it, and yet, the words "British mandate" is acceptable to you despite it meaning that conquering was involved.

It's pretty clear you're the one with selective indignation, and that you believe hypocrisy doesn't apply to you.
