Is anyone else disturbed by the way some people insult Linux users?
Not at all, like Yankees fans they're annoying assholes who are asking for it.
The most over-the-top fanboy behavior I have seen has been from Linux youth. This is the group that has sent death threats to LINUX BLOGGERS over unacceptable posts.

To be honest I haven't really noticed this. Some of the Linux forums I've been on have actually made it a policy to prohibit insulting other people's OS choices. Could be what communities I'm in though.
BTW, while I think everyone but the fans will acknowledge that Linux has a fan problem... Is anyone else disturbed by the way some people insult Linux users? I've seen the word "freetard" bandied about a few times for instance, and occasionally worse than that; and I'm a bit put off that people are willing to insult each other over choice of operating system, which IMO is really pretty silly.
