Okay, that makes sense. But I wasn't singling out those two, I was just using Java as an example to compare to .NET which we were already discussing.
There are good and bad programmers in any language, those two (along with VB, Python and a few others) just seem to attract the bad ones in droves, I believe because they are easy to pick up.

Sorry about that, I do agree with you.
I was disagreeing that Java and .NET alone foster dumb programmers.
