Microsoft Corp. plans to announce as early as next week that it is ready to ship a Windows 2000 Update Rollup, the final security patch for the 5-year-old operating system. Microsoft has drawn some criticism after confirming that it will not make the next version of Internet Explorer available to users of its Windows 2000 operating system.

In the seventh issue you will find an interview with Michael Phipps from HAIKU, a ZETA R1 preview, a review of yellowTABs ZETA PC and a lot more. You will Also find an in depth footage covering Apple's Garageband 2 and some other articles regarding other operating systems. So at last a lot of Be mixed with interesting Stuff from other worlds. Next-Gen GPUs to feature hardware-accelerated H.264 decoding

The requirement for a fast CPU to decode H.264 HD video content will soon be a thing of the past. ATI (slides on Xbit Labs' site) is preparing a hardware-based decoder enhancement for future boards. With Texas Instruments, Analog Devices and other manufacturers releasing H.264 hardware decoders, it won't be long before NVidia and other manufacturers catch up, however ATi is not the first manufacturer to offer this specific feature.
