The well known to ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation‘ fans, Wil Wheaton (the ‘Wesley Crusher‘ actor) is being interviewed by Slashdot. Wil talks about TNG, his relationship with computers and the Free Software, his work at NewTek (makers of the ‘Lightwave’ 3D application) and the legendary “Shut up Wesley!“. Great to see an actor turned to a computer geek rather a geek (or singer/model/housewife/fisherman) turned into an actor!
well, i know he was part of ST TNG … but was he acting?
i don’t know *GGGGG*

E! Online
IMHO, it is not bad at all to have something fresh and different every now and then. I have a special icon for such posts as you can see (thse articles have only appeared twice so far). The icon is not about Star Trek/Wars btw, but for general “geek” news. It is fun time!
TechTV went into famous (or semi-famous) peoples homes last year to do reports about how they use technology. They visited Wil Wheaton’s home and it was a really funny and interesting interview. We need more people to be “outted” as Geeks.
“I am a Geek and I am proud of it”
Wil seems like a really cool guy.
