Apple has released OS X Lion 10.7.4, which, among several other bug fixes, plugs a hole in FileVault that affected some users. Nothing particularly interesting going on otherwise.

Hi,
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5167 and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1222 do not mention that OS X Lion 10.7.4 fixes the FileVault vulnerability discovered in 10.7.3. Do you have a link to an official statement from Apple that supports your claim?
Thanks!
Hi,

The “Login Window” paragraph talks about it.

Jobs is dead. No more hype, no more WWDC “big bangs”. Expect regular updates, normal releases and plain, old OS development there …
I think that even without Jobs, Apple will remain Apple. I just can’t imagine that they would stop calling every new product a revolution just because of the loss of one man.
I don’t recall they ever made a big deal of an minor OS update. New major released did, not bug fix releases like this one.
Make you pay for that security fix for Photoshop CS 5.5 (twas released April 11, 2011) that is called Photoshop CS 6.

Ok, I’m not a Mac OSX Lion user, so I really don’t care that much.
The Adobe security update is for both Mac OS X and Windows.
It’s loathsome and fundamentally irresponsible that Adobe are unwilling to provide a genuine security update for Photoshop CS 5.5.
