Are there any ‘Open Source’ grid in development. Where it doesn’t matter if the information is leaked into public domain, because the information should have ended there anyway.
In that way it could become more like seti@home – even it you should pay to get acces.
The important things I am looking for is that everybody can add a grid, and everybody can use it (payment or free).
I have no idea why my previous comment was deleted. There’s a fast, efficient, simple Open Source grid platform for us normal people, called MyGrid: http://mygrid.sourceforge.net. It’s written in cross-platform .NET/Mono, but also has Java engines. Check it out.
