MyXaml is proud to announce the release of version 1.0 of its declarative parser. MyXaml allows the programmer to write declarative programming instructions in XML to construct complex object graphs and property initialization for the .NET/ASP.NET framework and third party classes.A Compact Framework version is also available for download. The MyXaml 1.0 release includes 16 examples ranging from a web service, mini-browser, XML parsing, database connectivity, vector graphics, games, data binding and basic .NET Forms manipulation. The release also includes MxLint, a lint-like XML validation utility, MyXamlSerializer, a plug-in component for Visual Studio 2003 that serializes forms to XML, and several architecture components focusing on Model-View-Controller design, event, message and state management, XML workflow parsing, and declarative container to SQL parameter mapping.

Does this support layout managers and stuff? The only example I found used fixed positions… If that’s true, in 2004, then that’s the lamest thing ever.

I don’t know about xul, but glade is not alternative to xaml. glade it is as far as i know just xml-ised resource file.

Why might I use MyXaml over Xamlon???
Because MyXaml is free software, and not in beta?
Beyond that I don’t know. I can’t do an anonymous evaluation of Xamlon so I don’t know its advantages. Can you say why I should prefer Xamlon over MyXaml?

To my understanding, it’s suppose to be compatible to Avalon which makes the transition to Avalon when it is released (???) easier.
