IconThe Ubuntu team has released the first milestones en route to Ubuntu 6.10, Edgy Eft, of all flavours (Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Edubuntu, and Xubuntu). The kernel has been upgraded to 2.6.17 in all flavours, and the GNOME version has been updated to 2.15.4 with GTK+ 2.10 in Ubuntu. Notable Kubuntu changes are listed as well. Screenshots of Ubuntu and Kubuntu are also available.
