“Apple seeded a new build of the Mac OS X 10.4.9 update to developers late last week, Think Secret has learned. According to seed notes accompanying the Intel version (build 8P2125) and PowerPC version (build 8P125) of the update, there are no known issues with the latest seed, suggesting that Version 10.4.9 may be nearing release. The latest seed fixed a handful of bugs, including issues with OpenGL, CoreImage, CoreData, iSync, and the Sync Services engine.” The Adium X team also released version 1.0 of their program, which is used by a lot of Mac users.
Love this app, the new changes are real nice with some new interface icons. Good to see Apple are fixing OpenGL issues because i’ve heard alot about people moaning about it.
I like Adium when I’m in OS X or Kopete with KDE on Linux.

Darnit! I wish Omni would fix this bug. They are aware of it, for any other OmniWeb users out there… I reported it and they duplicated it (responses not threading, even with option checked in OSNews prefs).

Adium doesn’t do video, right? I loved that app, but iChat and Chax are just as useful for me, and they let me do video chat.

I agree here. I LOVE having multiprotocol in Adium, but I use the Video Chat feature a TON in iChat, that paired with Chax has served me just fine. I’d love to have the option of plugins and such that Adium has, but for my needs, iChat is performing extremely well.
