Castle have announced RISC OS support for NeoMagic’s MiMagic 5 processor range. The MiMagic application processor is a 220MHz 32bit ARM9 core wrapped in a host of I/O and LCD monitor interfaces, and is aimed at wireless PDAs, handheld information appliances and other embedded kit.

is this OS meant for desktop use or embedded use?
oh, and does anyone know were I could get some ARM microcontrollers? Just a half-dozen or so, it for playing around mostly.
It was developed as a desktop OS.
The Nintendo DS has an both an ARM9 and an ARM 7 processor. RISCOS on the move would be excellent!
yep, a 67mhz arm9 and a 33mhz arm7.. to bad the screen res is so low. a RISC OS port to it would be interesting
It has enough ram (4mb).

As Kapult wrote it was made as a desktop system but the resource usage are so low that it works great as an embedded system now. Well for some embedded uses anyway.
