Xfce The Xfce project has released the first beta in the 4.4 release cycle. "Xfce 4.4 beta1 (4.3.90.1) is now available for download. Xfce 4.4 features new tools such as the much anticipated 'Thunar' file manager as well as several huge improvements of its core components."

You're only partially wrong now ;) Any edits are made in ~ and there are only about a billion utils (including the one if you're using Guh-nome) to adjust this.

I'm not saying they're 10 by default in Thunar itself, btw. If they aren't, it's because they've been explicitly raised, or you've chosen a large-print theme.

retard-size font settings can look just as good as anything. Poor choices on their part.

The other screenshots look decent, but the fonts are still *atrocious*.

The fonts in the first look fairly decent.

The rest look like they were taken by Gentoo users who figured watching stuff scroll by would automatically give them insight on how to setup fonts correctly.
