I think the interesting thing will occur if more people get involved; assuming that the 'on paper' vision can be translated into a real world product, we might actually get to see an operating system that can deliver some real changes in how operating systems run on desktops.
I like the way they've moved alway from the conventional way of providing scalability - if all works out, maybe we'll start to see it move back into larger projects.
