Or couldn't Debian have copyright on a
'Certified for Debian Etch'
badge.
Companies should then pay a small fee to be able to badge their servers/PC's.
This would mean that there would be a steady income stream coming back to Debian.
Also, for server suppliers like me it would make it much easier to decide on which servers to buy.
For instance, I'm not sure if SATA support is built-in to Debian Sarge for Dell servers - but a badge on the server would mean I could buy the machine knowing that Debian will install easily.
