Fedora Core Fedora 8 has been released. It sports a new look and feel, a codec installation program, the first signs of the GNOME online desktop, various security improvements, support for Compiz and Compiz-Fusion, Java support via Iced-Tea, and much more. Get it from the download page. Update: A couple of articles about the release: 1, 2, 3. Update II: One more: 4.

I net-installed an AMD64 PC and an x86 PC and both of them hung with "Redhat Nash version 6.0.19 starting" shown on the screen.

I had FC6 working just fine on the same machines.

Try removing rhgb quiet from the grub entry.
On the grub screen, move to the fedora entry end press 'e', move to the line which ends with rhgb quiet and press 'e' again.
Then remove rhgb quiet and press enter and then 'b'.

You should now see some more messages.
Is it hanging with inifinite messages that look like this?
init[1] divide trap error rip:.... rsp:.... error 0
