General Development DevX interviewed Bjarne Stroustrup about C++0x, the new C++ standard that is due in 2009. Bjarne Stroustrup has classified the new features into three categories Concurrency, Libraries and Language. The changes introduced in the Concurrency makes C++ more standardized and easy to use on multi-core processors. It is good to see that some of the commonly used libraries are becoming standard (eg: unordered_maps and regex).

Wow that is a lot of repetitive comments. Let me see if I can summarize this in lay man terms:
1. C++ is written to write all top apps, games and OS components. All your bases belong to C++.
2. Python is better because my brain and eyes don't hurt when I use it. C++ gives me migrains.
3. C#/Java rules because it carries a humongous framework unlike C++.
4. Use the right tool for the right job. C++ pwns all tools for all jobs.
5. C is faster and simpler than C++, but is C++'s ugly older sister.
6. VM based languages are faster than C++ provided you have gazillion bytes of memory to use them.

Did I miss anything?
