Looks interesting from a cultural point of view. People would actually have to go out see each other more frecuently. Many big corporations would go broke (who needs a TV/PC/car/electronics/etc when there's no power), many people would have to find a way to survive, and probably leave the big cities and start farming and doing hand work again. It would be tragic for most families, and only the strong and decided ones would survive.
Crime would rise and laws wouldn't apply, as there probably no way to enforce them with all the confusion. Governments would probably crash, as there would be no way to maintain sovereignity without communication. Evil people would profit from the situation.

Much more frightening than zombies, a massive and loooong power outage.
No more telecommunications, no more social computing, no more GSM, heater does'nt even start, no TV, no radio...
No-thing ! It will be like a doomsday...
Only one thing to do to survive: Do babies... ;-P
