Probably journalists or maybe suites a-la HBGary type given that they clearly don't know what real Hacking is all about.
"we never hacked anyone", probably meaning that they've never broken into a system without prior permission; neither has the majority of real Hackers.
Heck, Hacking does not even apply to just computers or security. Food Hackers, Radio Hackers, Stereo Hackers, Bio Hackers.. not much computers or security going on with them but some very cool DIY stuff and deeper understanding of those topics coming out of them.
