I regularly use the Debian (and Ubuntu) installer.

It still has a text interface (yes, GUI versions are available): http://www.freesoftwaremagazine.com/files/nodes/1774/figure2.jpg

Arghhh, why do people use JPEG (and not PNG) for such image?!... ;)
