Novell and Ximian A demonstration of the next release of Novell's Linux for desktops drew cheers and applause Wednesday, although the final version of the software is not expected for some months. Nat Friedman, the company's vice president of Linux desktop engineering, showed Novell Linux Desktop 10 playing videos and MP3 music files, and exchanging music and photos with an iPod and a digital camera, in a keynote presentation at the Solutions Linux conference and trade show on the outskirts of Paris.

Oh, could you please tell where to get Windows for free? And the development stuff and support and everything... I'm sure people would appreaciate your information about this, though I don't have a need for that stuff yet, but it'd be nice to know for the future.

Download the .NET framework and Visual Studio Express Edition,there, free, or downloand the tons of free compilers and editors Windows have.

In my 5 years of programing i've never needed any kind of from MS, Borland, etc,, i can find whatever I need from the developers forums, internet, community.+
