A guest post is a post on a topic of the sponsor’s choosing that may contain do-follow links. It is published on the site and indexed by search engines.
The cost is $500 USD.
Please do not ask for discounts.
It will be back dated, usually about 30 days, so it will not appear in the news feed or on the front page.
We use subjective criteria to determine what kinds of topics or sites we will allow. We like tech-related topics. Please contact us with the full text of your proposed sponsored post and we will let you know if it’s approved.
Guest posts may contain up to three promotional URLs (You can include additional links to other OSNews content or other mainstream content such as Wikipedia beyond the three promotional links).
We would like to keep guest posts between 300-1000 words.
If there is an existing OSNews article in the history that you would like to add a link to, instead of publishing a new guest post, we will consider it, as long as the association isn’t weird. For example, if an article from last year contains the term “bicycle” and you would like to hyperlink that word to a URL for something bicycle related, we would allow it. The price would be the same as a guest post.
Guest posts will not be marked “sponsored,” and your support of OSNews will not be promoted to our readers. If you want to be promoted to our readers, we have a separate sponsorship program for that.
We will keep the guest post published on the site permanently. We generally keep all content forever, sponsored or not. However, because of occasional housekeeping activity we can’t guarantee that any post will remain published longer than three years.
We accept payment via credit card or bank transfer. If necessary, we can also arrange for payment via PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. We may charge a surcharge on certain payment types.
