“LivePCs are virtual PCs that you can create and share just as you can share the rest of your digital life (photos, music, videos, etc.) A LivePC contains everything needed to run a virtual computer – an operating system and a bunch of applications. You can create and share your own LivePCs, or use the public LivePCs created by others in our BetaGarage. You can use LivePCs on your desktop, or you can take them with you everywhere on a portable USB drive.”
To bad this idea was already many years old and copyrighted.
It’s most definitely not copyrighted. Did you mean patented?
Ooops, sorry…indeed!
I downloaded the livePC engine and installed it, but whenever I go to run it I get a “failed to initialize” error message window then clicking ok closes it out. I hope others have better luck than I did.
Hey Tater —
I’m at moka5, and I have a feeling that this bug falls under my jurisdiction. Have you seen our support forums? If you are having problems, we can continue the discussion there:

My LivePC doesn’t recognize my volumetric display. Will that be supported in some future release? 😉
I looked at the support forums and a similiar entry said to update the video card drivers. Those are up to date. I won’t/shouldn’t put all the blame on your software as I had to recently reinstall XP the ugly way. It wasn’t a full format and install, it was just an install over the old windows directory. So there could be a few things missing on my machine t make it operate properly.
