I’ve noticed it’s been a little colder lately.
Yeah, it’s weird, isn’t it? The very idea of Microsoft releasing code under GPL goes against every past experience of them…
I’ll bet MS is getting ready to sue someone for a patent ‘violation’ and is just softening up the anti-MS/anti-patent opposition.

Right on cue, Microsoft just signed a deal with Buffalo. After Microsoft sued TomTom, Buffalo Group, owned by Melco, signed a patent deal for patents on Linux technologies used in its NAS products. Yeah, they really respect Linux…. People wonder why there are zealots.
