This is one of the most satisfying projects I have done I think. Mainly because this is a real device and something so historically important. It is a fully functioning Enigma machine you can wear on your wrist. This is a three rotor Enigma machine as used by German Wermacht in WW2 for encoding messages.
Way cooler than any Android Wrist or iPhone Mini watch.
Yeah, but would you wear it at a funeral?
Where are the rotors? That thing is not mechanical.

So it’s basically an Arduino? I was expecting a miniature machine not a fairly simple Arduino/LCD combination.
Before I clicked on the link, I thought it was going to be information about this mechanical watch that was posted yesterday on Reddit:
Took me a while to realize how it displayed time. Pretty cool. More info:
Imagine a commercial with this one meant for designers and celebrities.
On a more futuristic note I started noticing articles that state how much the Apple watch (whatever edition) will make the watch industry better just because it’s Apple.
I sure hope not.. What’s next? A bracelet that identifies us and allows us to make faster payments?
