A podcast without any Windows news this week; we focus on the alternatives with our discussion about RISC OS, Hackintoshes, and AROS. No GarageBand crashes this week, as Kroc downgraded to an earlier version without the bug that has been bugging us since the first podcast.

I’m sure there are quite a few irix users out there still
The new episode isn’t showing up for me in the feed. I even tried removing and adding the feed back into iTunes, still nothing.
Any chance getting this podcast in iTunes? Pretty please? 😉

We’re working on it, thanks.
It’s been submitted, but who knows how long until it starts showing up?
I found it interesting Thom’s comments about not wanting to use applications that dont fit well into the OS (firefox on BeOS for example).
And this being a horrible experience…
I find this interesting – On one hand I see what Thom means but on the other hand sometimes the experience is just less important then needing to get something done.
For instance I still use “ddd” for debugging – even though its using 80’s motif.
Its funny how theres something very wrong about running qt and gtk apps side by side, even though I dont really mind it does feel clunky…. but I cant really rationalize it.
