Windows According to at least one blogger, Microsoft should abandon Vista before it's too late. It would appear he's not alone in this opinion, as Microsoft has begun allowing users to downgrade back to XP. Amongst the reasons? Poor sales figures and shoddy Vista "Extras".

No, they shouldn't. Get a grip. They should fix the problems.

What alternatives would there be? Surely you don't mean Linux? Linux is inferior to Windows XP or Windows Vista. It ain't ready. Windows has the largest user and experience base, more applications and broader support.

There's an excessive amount of rough edges, ridiculous got-chas and "ooops, missed that bug, better compile the latest source from CVS.. see if that works" attitudes.
