With each successive generation of technology, we collectively make each leap faster and with slightly less pain. However, as a music fanatic, the jump from tape to CD/mp3 was a tough one for me. I'm still looking for an internal MiniDisk drive, preferably with HiMD support, for the same reasons you wanted a tape deck. However, these internal MD drives are hard to find, and I'm quite sure that there's no HiMD version yet.
Overall, a cool thing, even though I have no use for it.
