That's funny. The operating systems I use regularly (including Windows) have had this, or a similar, feature for a loooong time. Maybe it's just a revelation to Mac users. It is handy though. Well, that's what I meant
anyone who's found the easy-access shortcuts in the left column of a Finder window as a new feature must only have experience of Macs at least as old as mine. My Mac experience has a hole in it from OS 8 to OSX 10.4, so I'm not sure when OSX got it, but it must be a decade ago...
