Google "Timothy Jordan gave developers at SXSW in Austin, TX a sneak peek at the Google Mirror API, which is what they'll use to build services for Glass. With the presentation, we set out to help developers and entrepreneurs start imagining what they could do on Glass." Lots of details about Glass and programming for it.

After watching the presentation I was really disappointed. It seems there is no possibility for AR or LBS apps, Glass does not provide any coordinates to the service provider or at least it was not mentioned in the presentation. No push notifications are possible at the moment. Then all the traffic goes through Google, Google is completely controlling it. The demo video raised expectations which hardly can be fulfilled.
