Google

Google back in 2005:

There will be no banner ads on the Google homepage or web search results pages.

Google today:

The company confirmed to the Guardian that it is testing a system with about 30 advertisers in the US in which it shows banner ads for companies including SouthWest Airlines on pages which include them in web search results.

And people wonder why I have zero trust in companies.

No, I don't look down on people. I'm really sorry if that is the impression you got.

I'm just saying: learning a completely new job in an other field takes a lot of time and effort. And you are probably unemployed during that time.

And software (businesses trying to be more efficient) is working hard on taking away all the simple tasks.

He's not the only one who got that impression, he just beat me to the chastisement. Try working a menial job with no choice in the matter before making those kind of comments. Hell, I love my job, but most people wouldn't accept such low pay for a tech position (I work for a very small company). But I've had far worse and in this economy I'm just happy to be working at all.

Don't worries, same here.

I also work for a small tech company, for small salary.

My reason is I can do things there, I can't do anywhere else.

It's easy to get that impression when you say:

"If you were good at doing something else, you probably wouldn't have chosen taxi-driving in the first place. Am I right ?"

It really was the wrong choice of works.

That is what happens when you run out of inspiration/ideas how to elaborate on something.
