Here’s a brand new series of tutorials (free reg. req.) to help you learn Linux fundamentals and prepare for system administrator certification exam 201, however they are of use to anyone willing to learn the fundamentals of Linux. These eight tutorials cover the Linux kernel, file and service sharing, system customization and automation, and more.
IBM supports open-source, but they want you to log-in to see their free material. WTF is that about?

To fence off anyone who is not motivated, which would be a waste of resources and better spend to those who serious want to learn.
To fence off anyone who is not motivated…
It’s still wasted! They should better take some money!
I found the tutorial useful myself and as a Linux user found things I didn’t know about, or knew little about. Although this is specifically targeted at Linux users it could be helpful for people who use other operating systems such as Windows in that using a Linux live-cd to rescue files from a broken system etc. And you have to commend IBM for releasing such articals and tutorials because the fact is they didn’t have to and the fact that is free is a huge bonus to everyone willing to learn.
Although i learned a lot of what’s described through using linux it’s a very usefull set of articles.
If you don’t want to deal with logins, try http://BugMeNot.com. An extention exists for Firefox.
I found these tutorials very helpful considering that linux is getting more popular and more are migrating to these operating systems.
These look like pretty well written tutorials to me.
I have not fully gone through them all yet, but will continue working at it.
