Due to a massive hardware failage, Focus Shift was off-line for a while. Go complain at the guy who soldered on the IDE controller on my x86.

Hehe, I thought so, too. ๐
God mail.app sucks. But I’m glad I’m not the only one that had that issue.
You can drag folders to the root level in mail.app. But its done badly, if you drag to a space between two other folders at root level it will highlight a position (based on alphabetic order) in the root level. I’ve moved folders and sub-folders around. But like I said its done badly, the logical thing would be to drag the folder to the “On My Mac” line.
That’s Tiger behaviour. In Leopard that’s no longer possible.
My leopard install begs to differ :0)
Tested when I saw the cartoon and tested it again now. It works fine!
I just installed 10.5.3 and this still isn’t fixed…
Just thought I’d mention it…
Still, if this the biggest complaint we have with Mail.app, then it seems it’s a pretty cool app ๐
Either this is something only affecting certain installs of mail.app or I’m missing something. Here is a screenshot of a folder being moved from the “Batelco” Folder in Mail to the root level. Is this what your saying doesn’t work??
