The QT framework has become the a popular route to port several open source applications to OS/2 and eComStation. Version 4.7.3 has been ported to this platform and it is available for download; the improvement list is also available. The QT Creator IDE has also been ported.
I can’t even try eComStation, the 1.2 Live CD doesn’t work on my new hardware and where is 2.0 Live version? It’s been long since 2.0 got released and this link: http://www.ecomstation.com/democd/ still says The current Demo CD is based on the eComStation 1.2 product … (at least @ the time of this post). Correct me if I am wrong but I think it’s been well over a year since 2.0 got released.

wow qt for ecom…3 people will be happy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EComStation#Current_status sounds like there are way more users. Sometimes a platform in maintaining-mode can be more attractive then something moving and changing all of the time.
Nice to see Qt building more and more bridges between all those platforms out there. Truly a cross-platform framework.
I’m one of the 3. Thanks guys!

That is right.
> The QT framework
> The QT Creator IDE
And this is wrong.
It is called Qt.
“QT” stands for Apples “QuickTime”.
I used to really like OS/2 back in the day. I still remember shoveling 30 some odds floppies into my computer to install it.
