Novell, the recent purchasers of Ximian, have announced that they may cease development of their incredible NetWare NOS. Update 01:41 EST: Maybe not. Seems they are not ceasing as much as moving to more of a “maintenance mode.”

There’s a new article at eweek.com that states that Novell’s comments were taken out of context.

Odd that Novell would call releasing a brand new version of their NOS with a Netware *and/or* Linux base “maintenance mode.”
But that’s just me.
