Wind River completes embedded Linux metamorphosis

Embedded software powerhouse Wind River’s metamorphosis into an embedded Linux vendor appears to be complete. The company will announce today that first embedded Linux distribution, and that it has already delivered 1,000 “developer seats” for the Carrier Grade Linux 2.0 compliant software.

    First, what does the sexuality of pengiuns have to do with embedded Linux. Secondly, why does your apparent homophobia make you think that this is a reaonsable insult to hurl at a man that appears to be happily married (I say appears because I have no desire to invade his privacy in order to find out.) Honestly, what is the point of such a clearly off-target attack that has absolutley nothing to do with the article?

    Wasn’t this the company that used to talk about why embedded Linux was so bad? Or am I thinking of someone else?

    I do believe this company criticized embedded linux, like any other company did.

    They should have concentratd more on BSD/OS and VxWorks
