This Schwartz guy seems too complicated. Personally, I only scare of heights and snakes. I met him 2 years ago in San Francisco, he didn’t seem to be so though.
Just read it. FYI: he isnt a complex person.
The guy is not complicated, he is just talking bull and so are the other “bloggers” at SUN.
First he want’s to “scare” us and then SUN is going to rescue us from evilness, give me a break.
Yet another biased and trolling article…
That article was reasonable, presenting Mr. Schwartz’s opinion on various issues as just that.
No cheap shots at RedHat, HP or other Sun competitors, which is a refershing change.
I actually enjoyed reading this article.
I hope this is the start of a trend.
Not bad, light-hearted and interesting, he’s not as bad as some people make him out to be.
However, I’d never insert an RFID chip into my children or anyone else, sometimes you just have to draw the line on privacy.
What’s up with this guy. Why does a CEO blog (I know this is a article, not a blog) like a high-school open source kid who feels the need to bash another project. And what’s up with the pony tail? This ain’t the early 90’s. This guy is an embarrassment.

An RFID implated in his child??? How about putting a GPS unit in there while they’re at it? Good grief. What a nut.
Sure he’s “scared” of all the unsecured PCs out there that can be physically “stolen”. Sun can save the day by making “the network the computer”. We can just migrate to thin clients and pay Sun to host our applications and data. Sun will make us safe.
Sun is a dying company.
