“Xbox and GameCube both have gamers slathering, and for the same basic three reasons: games, games, and yes, games. Content is what decides which console succeeds and which one augers in, and both Xbox and GameCube look strong out of the gate. So the game-based buying decision will come down to a matter of game preferences, and how addicted you are to Miyamoto-designed games, which can only be had on the GameCube. But let’s look past the games for a bit. Who’s got the better hardware design? Whose is more forward-looking? Which is more likely to run out of gas first? For the answers to these and other vexing techie questions, read on.” Second part of the very interesting three-part article over at ExtremeTech. First part of the article can be found here.
I wonder whose bed this guy is sleeping in…could it be…Microsoft?

Have you PLAYED Halo?
Hey Geoffrey, why someone could not write something good for Microsoft if he really thinks that SOME of their products are actually good? He is a reviewer. He liked XBox for this and that reason and he gives his clear arguments. What’s wrong with that? Where are YOUR arguments about the XBox subject? Hah?
Sometimes I really wish that the OSNews readers are more open to ALL OSes and technologies and not be hatred of Microsoft’s products. Personally, what I do *not* like is Microsoft’s business practices, but I like most of their products just fine. Not all, but most of them are pretty good.
you do not like there business practice and you still buy and use there products? so in my opinion you then support there business practice like a lot of people, and at the end why should microsoft change there practice, when ‘all’ people still buying there products ? they will only change there products when they have less profit.
and for the x-box I don’t buy it, because I don’t want to support them and make them stronger. as long as they behave in this ways, I don’t support there products when I have an alternative.
just my opinion
