GrafX2 is a bitmap paint program inspired by the Amiga programs Deluxe Paint and Brilliance. Specialized in 256-color drawing, it includes a very large number of tools and effects that make it particularly suitable for pixel art, game graphics, and generally any detailed graphics painted with a mouse.
The program is mostly developed on Haiku, Linux and Windows, but is also portable on many other platforms.
This program has been around since the early ’90s, and runs, among other platforms, on Haiku today. Amazing.
I runs on old Amigas with gfx-cards and on NG systems und MorphOS as well as on AROS.
Besides that it also is available for smaller platforms like the ones already mentioned and macOS…

I took a look at this program on Linux late last year. GrafX is pretty awesome. I wish AROS was working on modern 64-bit PC hardware. I’d really like to give it a go but can’t be bothered fighting with hardware.
there is a 64bit version of AROS – as always it is impossible for a small OS to provide drivers for every hardware out there. But you can use a Linux-kernel for this and run Aros on top of it.
This is what you’re looking for.

No.
I was not looking for anything.
i’ve been using this app few years ago, and i thought the development stopped.
Time to get back to it again.

The attitude in that is hilarious. You can tell its older and less corporate than most software we deal with.
ROFL!
