Amiga & AROS The AROS Show has interviewed Damir 'd980' Sijakovic. The interview itself might not be all that, but there are some screenshots of AROS in the article as well. Be sure to take a look at the last screenshot, if you are into retro and all that.

AROS is looking very nice these days.

As the semi "official" AROS spokesman Randal Vice mentioned recently on another forum, this could be the year AROS hits all the milestones Amiga Inc have set for AmigaOS 5.0. :-)

The year of the AROS desktop?

Hopefully! All the iso images I tested within x86 emulators worked. This once I even installed it to a Qemu virtual disk flawlessly. So I keep dreaming of an Epia board based mini-PC running an AmigaOS clone.

Will AROS bring all the fun back?

I've tried to boot it just for fun a couple of occasions in some months time, with different versions of both Parallels and AROS, always same result: instant death of the VM...

Well well, maybe it will work in two more weeks? ;-)

Maybe Parallels is just crap? ;-)

VMWare, Virtual PC, QEMU, Bochs and Virtual Box all run AROS with no trouble.

I have yet to try it with KVM, but I guess it probably will work.
