Humor A Microsoft customer was so eager to get a beta of Longhorn that he FedEx'ed two pounds of inscribed chocolate to one of Microsoft's test managers. Yes, he did get the invitation and the chocolate was sent to the Longhorn shiproom for everyone to enjoy.

I'd rather take the chocolate over the Longhorn beta. But that's just me. ;)

I'd rather send the chocolates to the developers of KDE 4, now that's something to look forward to... ;-)

I second that. But I'd want the secret KDE 4.0.1 that's not horribly broken ;) .

The kind of story everybody likes. Maybe that's why it sets off my bull-detector. How did this guy know the name and adress of this test manager in the first place ?

Oh, you must've a lot of chocolate as there's pretty many people who are developing KDE ;)

Currently Commit-Digest stats aren't build but last time they were 203 contributors (http://commit-digest.org/index.php?issue=jul82005#Statistics) ;)

So that's the big advantage of proprietary software that Microsoft always talks about... You get some nice bribes!
Well, free software developers wouldn't be interested in the chocolate anyways, as they only consume weed, beer and pizza (notice that this is SARCASM, I do not intend to start a flamewar)!

laxitive :)
