I would raise my hand, but I've been waiting so long I now need both hands to hold on to my zimmerframe.
Funny that everyone who likes E seems to have suffered from the same old age related stroke that has affected there ability to construct sentences.

For some reason, after trying it out, I decided I wanted to use it again on this box.

Care to share what the reason was behind using this travesty of an interface?
What really seems odd to me is the versioning scheme. Not even Fedora is anywhere near 16 or 17 yet. And they play about as fast and loose as anyone regarding version numbers. And yet for as long as I can remember, the 'E' dev team has acted more like those devs who go on for years with 0.97, 0.98, 0.99, 0.99.1, 0.99.2, 0.99.3... 0.99.9.1, 0.99.9.2...
Some people, I know, are irritated when I say that this or that piece of software was released in "point oh" form too early. But Enlighentment devs: COUGH IT UP, MAN! Shit or get off the pot.
(I wonder if I should have ended this post that way?)
There was a snapshot release of E17 a few days back...

Hmm..so which one to run? E16 or E17?
Is it that E16 releases get all the "ink" and E17 ones' don't?
Honestly I haven't touched 'E' in quite a while. I had been running E17 for a couple of years when I was using dual monitors, but it started to go unstable one me and honest just sometimes lag.
Going widescreen/single head allowed me to jump back to windowmaker for my work machine.
