Tao Group is a well known name in the embedded systems market, but they became very popular when Amiga, Inc. licensed their products for the next generation of Amiga, AmigaDE. The Tao Development Team answers today a series of questions regarding AmigaDE, Tao's relationship with Amiga, Inc. and their technology they offer in general. They also clear up some misunderstanding that seem to exist regarding what AmigaDE really is, and they offer to our readers a number of cool screenshots of the platform.

WoW, I really look forward seeing what comes for Amiga partnership. Tao surely are excellent partners for them. A nice fit, Amiga being sooo far ahead for its time. And now they hava a partner which is sooo incredible far ahead for its time also!!
Well, I've been reading up on the Tao-Amiga partnership since I've seen it demonstrated in the Melbourne IT show in September (which is where I first saw and fell in love with BeOS two years ago) and an opportunity for me has arisen which has prompted me to order the SDK. I guess I'll be involved with AmigaDE development for the forseable future.
Is Tao Group providing Amiga with technology it's partners develop such as video streaming etc?

ça fait un moment que TAO est en relation amiga pour l'amélioration en profondeur de l'os....et notamment de l'interpréteur java... mais les nouvelles sont hyper filtrées et on ne sait vraiment pas où ça en est...
