It's been a long time, but Palm has finally announced it is accepting submissions for its App Catalog. It's still in beta, and the applications will be only available for US customers. The details are on Palm's developer network.

I don't mean to seem argumentative here, and am just genuinely curious. But what is meant by "reasonable" in this context? Of the 5 criterion listed, 2 are objective:
- They are written specifically for webOS and not delivered through the browser.
- They leverage webOS platform and device capabilities, for example, notifications, multitasking/background processing, location services, accelerometer.
The remaining ones are completely subjective. The 5th could potentially be made objective by providing additional information as to what "acceptable" and "excessive" mean in Palm's environment.
