BeOS & Derivatives In an interesting and exciting turn of events, Haiku was able to secure a space at LinuxWorld Expo 2008 by negotiating with LinuxWorld organizers (IDG) and ReactOS who will be sharing the exhibit space with Haiku this year. Average LinuxWorld attendance is more than 10,000 people, and represents a large amount of commercial and media interest. This should provide excellent exposure and opportunities for both projects alike.

Haiku and ReactOS? Nice.

Haiku and ReactOS are - beside Linux - my two favorite OpenSource Operating Systems.

Now that would be a kick butt OS. ReactHaiku.
it is funny, but besides SkyOS, they are the top three OSes that i follow along with, lots. I allways look forward to hearing any news about them.

Obviously ReactOS isn't ready for ready yet (last time I installed it crashed all the time). However, it's getting closer and when its stable enough, I'd love to see to installed by default on other OSes in a fully pre-configured virtual machine so you could install and use Windows programs seamlessly.

Obviously in Haiku that be great but lets get Haiku R1 finished first please... and why not in Ubuntu too.

Haiku's and ReacOS's RSS feeds are the two listed in my news reader right above OSNews.

Very good move, a couple of projects coming together like this.

Both projects have made *huge* progress over the last few months, and I follow both of them closely. Good on you, Haiku and ReactOS!
